Wired and Wireless Networking in a Garage

Recently, we installed some network sockets and a wireless access point for a customer that wanted internet in their garage (and back garden). Then we ran network cable to their house and another cable to the office that was still under construction.

We used a UniFi AC Pro for the wireless and a US 8 switch to manage all the network traffic. Finally, we fitted and configured a Synology Network Attached Storage drive to enable this customer to save CAD files and designs that could be fabricated later on. This solution also featured automatic cloud backups in the event of something going wrong and the important data needing to be recovered.

This type of infrastructure work for commercial purposes is something we are slowly expanding into, making sure along the way that we can guarantee an excellent standard of installation and functionality. If you have any bigger projects that you'd like some help with, please send us a message.
